		CorpHealth e-MD is easy to use, cost-effective and fast. Via our HIPAA-secure web system, users can submit a brief history of the claim along with the question regarding issues such as causal relationship, appropriateness and necessity of treatment, impairment percentages, or other concerns. Additional supporting documentation may be uploaded, faxed, or mailed to our office. Our physician(s), serving as medical consultants, will review the information and provide a concise opinion, supported by the medical evidence, typically within 48 to 72 hours of receipt. These physician opinions may then be utilized to assist in determining the direction of a claim. Accepted standards such as ACOEM Practice Guidelines, Milliman & Robertson criteria, BWC guidelines, the Miller criteria, and the most recent edition of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment are used in the determinations, as well as a variety of other evidence-based medical resources depending on the issue to be addressed. Independent medical examinations and formal medical file reviews are also available for issues that require more extensive review of the medical records.
