The U.S. Department of Transportation regulates a wide variety of truck drivers and bus drivers, including school bus drivers.  They require DOT physicals for most truck and bus drivers.  DOT/CDL physicals involve certification or re-certification examinations which meet federal regulatory requirements.  CorpHealth's DOT-on-the-SPOT program ensures that DOT/CDL drivers get a thorough physical exam that meets DOT regulations - with walk-in convenience.

School bus drivers need this physical exam as part of their T8 School Bus Driver Medical Examination which is necessary for driving a school bus.  School districts require a completed T8 School Bus Driver Medical Examination Form (T-8, T8V, T-8V) before they will hire a bus driver to work in their district.  Something as simple as an unsigned T8 report can disqualify school bus drivers or make them "inactive status" bus drivers.  Our physicians will work with you to make sure your T8 form is properly completed.

Once the physical examination is complete, we laminate the DOT card and the driver is on his or her way.  The examination date is entered into our tracking database and a reminder postcard is mailed to the truck driver one month before expiration.
